- Early bird application deadline: September 30, 2021 (by midnight, PST)*
- Final submission deadline: October 31, 2021 (by midnight, PST)
- Finalist announcement: November 7, 2021
- Final round video submission deadline: November 14, 2021 (by midnight, PST)
- Winner announcement: November 21, 2021

Video Submission Guideline
- Once your application and fee are submitted and paid, you will receive a link to submit your program and YouTube link via email.
- Videos must be filmed in one stationary shot beginning to end for the entire program without any editing or added reverb.
-Upload your video to YouTube. (The title should be: Guitarlab International Guitar Competition 2021 - YOUR NAME)
Other Terms and Conditions
- Decisions of the jury are final.
- Guitarlab reserves the right to refund the competitors and cancel the competition in the case that not enough entries are submitted.
- By applying for the Guitarlab International Guitar Competition, competitors grant Guitarlab a license to use all submitted recordings.
Divisions
- Youth Division I: up to 13 years old (at the time of registration)
- Youth Division II: ages 14-18 (at the time of registration)
- Open Division: all ages
Repertoire
- Youth Division I: one round, free choice program, 7-10 minutes.
- Youth Division II: one round, a free choice program, 10-15 minutes.
- Open Division:
- First round: a free choice program, 7-10 minutes.
- Final round: a free choice program not to exceed 20 minutes. (Pieces from the previous round can be repeated for the final.)
